This computer-animated short offers a visionary story of one of the last survivors on earth fighting a disease that has wiped out mankind. Or has it?
An unknown virus seems to have destroyed most of the human race, and the only remaining survivors escape to the sea in great ships or arks, searching for uninhabited land to find a cure. One man, a scientist, is their only hope, but he soon discovers that he, too, has the disease. Will he find a cure in time? Is the pressure too great for him? What is truth, and what is reality? Well, he’s in for a little surprise, and so are we as we follow this man’s journey in this brilliant and hyper-realistic animated short film. Ark is a joint project by director/producer, Grzegorz Jonkajtys, and co-producer, Marcin Kobylecki. Mr. Jonkajtys will be in attendance. Animated. Poland. 8 min. Screens with Fat Stupid Rabbit.
