Young JP struggles with the death of a father he barely knew, and along the way, discovers the true healing powers of gasoline.

On the day of his father’s burial, JP takes his friends with him on a journey to learn about his father’s life. Cruising nameless roads in backwoods Ohio, JP struggles with the memory of his dead father and with something bigger: will he end up like his old man, dying alone with no mourners, or will he trust his girlfriend and change the direction of his life? Directed by Andrew M. Hulse, this dramatic film with fine acting depicts a young man who must make the decision whether or not to follow in his dead father’s footsteps or free himself forever from the bonds of violence, alcoholism, and isolation. Director/writer/producer Andrew Hulse will be in attendance. Drama. USA. 17 min. Screens with Chiles and A Day’s Work.
