A freelance photographer, Lili (Romane Bohringer) has been hired to document new infrastructures in her townfs sister community in Senegal, Africa. Once there, she forms an intuitive bond with Aminata, and unmarried and childless woman like her, whose quiet independence mirrors Lilifs. When a child is born to Aminata, their friendship takes on new challenges. A well-crafted film that beautifully articulates Senegalfs archaic customs and complexity.
