A father leaves his daughter in their car while he runs a quick errand, only to find her missing when he returns.
Carl, a divorced father, picks up his daughter, Julie, from school, and leaves her in their car while he goes into the grocery store. And so begins his and every parents nightmare. When Carl returns, Julie is nowhere in sight, and theres no evidence of whats happened to her. Director Earnest Kims emotionally charged short film examines the aftermath of Julies disappearance: the Missing Child posters growing faded and tattered on the billboard walls, the years going by without an answer, the tacit accusations of wrongdoing from strangers, the utter emptiness of existence without closure. Dont miss this beautifully moving film with a haunting, original score by composer Andrew Carr. Drama. Australia. 10 m. Screens with Water Flowing Together.
