When a white man’s wallet is stolen by a black man, he discovers that not everything is as it seems.
Cal Poly graduate and co-founder of Cal Poly’s film club, David DeVos produced this clever short film while he was a contestant on Steven Spielberg’s “On the Lot” reality TV show last year. After being given the logline — “Something Important is Lost” — he was given exactly one week to make the film, from script to screen. What a week! His film went on to win Best Drama at the Santa Monica Film Festival and we’re excited to have David's film screening in SLO where he produced his first film as a senior project.
