Still a child but longing to be an adult, thirteen year-old Nancy encounters her first real threat as a female when an older man aggressively pursues her on her way home.

Set in the summer of 1971, thirteen year-old Nancy, spends her summer afternoons at her Uncle Winfield‘s gas station in the middle of nowhere, in the hopes of seeing people and being seen. She longs to have adult experiences like her older cousin Georgia. One day a passerby from out town stops for gas. He drives a fabulous car, wears a suit and looks important. When his friendliness turns to pursuit, we have to wonder who’s in control of the situation. Shot in San Luis Obispo County. Director/writer Gillian Monroe will be in attendance. Coming of age/drama. USA. 15m. Screens with Girls Rock.
