A carefree life of grand theft auto and romance is disturbed when a young couple steals the wrong car.
Son and Rachael - dropouts, car thieves and not yet twenty - live on cigarettes, spare change, and the sexual high of stealing cars. The game heightens when Rachael discovers their latest theft belongs to a rival car thief named Max, but worse, Son recklessly leaves evidence that they were the ones who stole Max’s car. They decide to run, and it becomes clear that Rachael has a secret that will keep them running, a secret that will end their carefree, criminal lifestyle. But it may be too late. Directed by AFI Fellow Andrew Baldwin and filmed by Director of Photography Derek Fullager, last year’s recipient of the 2006-2007 SLOIFF AFI Scholarship.
