Through Your Eyes

Sunday, March 16 — 2:00pm Palm Theatre

An eye-opening look into the world of deaf blindness.

There are 70,000 deaf blind people living in the United States today. Though they are all legally deaf and blind, some cannot see or hear anything whatsoever, while others have extremely limited senses. They are all faced with obstacles many of us will never comprehend. First and foremost, they must find ways to communicate. They cannot see sign language or hear anyone talk to them. Making it through a day can be a daunting task. With narration by Michael Madsen and David Carradine, this film takes a thoughtful look at what it is like to live with this condition and how it impacts family life. Former SLOIFF board member Cathy Henderson-Martin is Executive Producer. Documentary. USA. 85m. Screens with Not Just Mine: Kids & Plovers on the Beach.
