Become a Sponsor

The San Luis Obispo International Film Festival provides a unique opportunity for your brand or business to connect authentically with your audience!

Why sponsor?

By choosing to become a sponsor during our six-day annual festival, or for one of our many other community events throughout the year, sponsors connect, interact, engage and inspire their audience through a unique platform while uplifting the many diverse voices that will create positive change within our community of film lovers along the Central Coast.

Connect, engage, inspire

Our film festival has many sponsorship opportunities available. From sponsoring a film, a screening or a panel discussion to helping us put on educational workshops, competitions, programs or special events, we are happy to work with your brand to find a sponsorship opportunity that aligns best with your marketing goals.

Our sponsors receive continuous media coverage throughout the year thanks to our generous media partners, coordinated social sharing, and are featured in our annual printed program guide that is distributed amongst festival attendees and our extensive mailing list.

Please email sponsorship@slofilmfest.org to learn about sponsorship opportunities.

How will your support help us?

We are an inclusive festival. Help us keep it that way.

Help our operating costs

Generous support from our sponsors and donors helps us cover up to half of our operating costs. You’ll be helping us support our dedicated small staff of three, our valued local venues, AV costs, and advertising and marketing.

Fund film education

Help us provide educational opportunities such as discussion panels, post-screening Q&As, or supporting budding filmmakers through our Filmmakers of Tomorrow Showcase, for film lovers of all ages along the Central Coast.

Support other local non-profits

By screening a film that aligns with their mission and values, our film festival allows for incredible partnerships with other local non-profits to help amplify voices and lift up others in our local community.
